2012 Green Party Presidential Candidates

The Green Party will nominate its 2012 presidential ticket at its national convention in Baltimore, July 12-15. Delegates to the convention will be elected by the various state Green parties and caucuses.

As of Feb. 1, 2012, the official recognized GPUS candidates for President are:

Report of Jan. 25 State Meeting

Internal Elections:
Mark Jenkins continues as Treas. and is now Secretary.
Jim Lendall continues at Policies & Positions.
Mark Swaney is now our Grass-Roots Organizer/Media/PR.
Rebekah Kennedy is the new State Co-ordinator.
Josh Drake continues as Elections Co-ordinator.

The State Nominating Convention will be held in conjuction with the next St. Meeting on Sunday, May the sixth at 2pm in a location yet to be determined.

The next National Meeting will be held in conjuction with the Pres. Nominating Convention in Baltimore this June.

Rebekah Kennedy and Jacob Holloway have already announced for Congress. Several other Candidates and possible Candidates are lining up.
