July 12, the National Green Party chose Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente to be our Presidential and VP candidates this year. The Arkansas delegation, including candidates Rebekah Kennedy (U.S. Senate) and Deb McFarland (2nd Congressional District) traveled to Chicago to cast our 8 votes.
On the first ballot, Cynthia McKinney received 313 votes out of 532 cast at the Green Party Presidential Nominating Convention.

Voting Irregularities Reported
There were several voting problems reported by Green Party voters during the election process. The Green Party of Arkansas is collecting the reports to decide whether formal protests will be filed. Any one who experienced or witnessed difficulties or questionable actions during the Green Party Primary Election is urged to contact members of the GPA Executive Committee. (see link)
