Green Party Chooses 2008 Presidential/VP Ticket!
July 12, the National Green Party chose Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente to be our Presidential and VP candidates this year. The Arkansas delegation, including candidates Rebekah Kennedy (U.S. Senate) and Deb McFarland (2nd Congressional District) traveled to Chicago to cast our 8 votes.
On the first ballot, Cynthia McKinney received 313 votes out of 541 cast at the Green Party Presidential Nominating Convention.
